An exploration of the life and music of Miles Davis.
Mr. Don Cheadle everyone. How can you not love him? I mean, I did find it a bit hard to really believe him as jazz legend Miles Davis. I kept picturing him as Marty Kaan from House of Lies or as James Rhodes in the Marvel films. I really see this film only going two ways. The first: It’s a really good film. Don Cheadle is amazing as Miles Davis and does an even better job in his directorial debut. The second: This film was not a good representation of Miles Davis. Don Cheadle wasn’t very good and his first feature film as director left a sour taste in my mouth. Well, let’s hope it’s the former rather than the latter.
