Life after college graduation is not exactly going as planned for Will and Jillian who find themselves lost in a sea of increasingly strange jobs.
I have to admit. Get A Job has a pretty cool cast. We have Miles Teller, Anna Kendrick, Bryan Cranston, Alison Brie, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, John Cho and a few others. Not bad, not bad. However, I felt absolutely nothing when I watched this trailer.
I can get behind a film that has a good cast and a decent storyline, but not only did the trailer basically tell us every single surprise in this film, I just don’t see how someone having trouble finding a job is appealing to make me spend $12 on a movie ticket. Hell, I don’t think I would even watch it if I won advance screening tickets.
But hey, if you enjoyed the trailer, I’m happy for you and this film. Nothing is worse than people working hard on a film and then it brcomes a huge flop. Hmm, I wonder if people would watch a film where a film crew member has worked on many films, but they always flop and then the studio believes this crew member is actually bad luck, so he has trouble ginding a job on another film. Would you see that?
